During the enrollment, you will be expected to present the original copies of these documents. Although it is not mandatory to submit all the documents, it is necessary to furnish at least one document from each category.

Once you have gathered the necessary documents, the next step is to book an appointment online for your Aadhaar enrolment. By scheduling an appointment online, you will be able to bypass waiting in queues and ensure a smoother enrolment process.

While it is not obligatory to book an appointment for Aadhaar enrollment, some centers do accommodate direct walk-ins. However, it is important to note that in such cases, you may need to wait in a queue, and individuals with prior appointments are usually given priority.

If you would like to book an appointment for Aadhaar enrollment, you can initiate the process by clicking on the link provided below.

Book Aadhaar Appointment

If you have successfully booked an appointment online, it is important to bring the printed appointment form along with the required documents. On the other hand, if you are visiting the center as a walk-in without an appointment, you will be required to fill out the Aadhaar Enrolment Form. This form can be obtained free of charge from the Aadhaar Kendra or downloaded online as the New Aadhar Card Application Form.

New Aadhar Card Form

Simply print out the form and complete it before your visit to the center.

It is crucial to note that the Aadhaar card application form varies depending on the applicant’s category, including Indian Residents, Foreign Residents, NRIs, OCI Holders, Children below 5 Years (Baal Aadhaar), Residents aged 5 to 18 Years, and Residents above 18 Years. Therefore, it is essential to download the appropriate new Aadhaar card application form that corresponds to the applicant’s category.

Please make sure to fill in all the required information on the form, and remember to provide your email address and mobile number as they are essential.

On the designated day and time of your appointment, or if you choose to walk in without an appointment, visit the Aadhaar Kendra in person with the duly filled application form and the required documents.

Walk into the Aadhaar Kendra and proceed to submit your duly filled application form and required documents to the authorized personnel.

Your original documents will undergo a thorough verification process, be scanned for record-keeping purposes, and then promptly returned to you.

Upon submission of your documents and form, you will be requested to take a seat in order to proceed with the enrollment process.

All your details will be stored in the software, and your biometric details, including one photograph, fingerprints of both hands, and iris scans of both eyes, will be captured. However, biometric data such as fingerprints and iris scans will not be captured of children below 5 years of age who is applying for baal aadhaar.

Subsequently, you will be provided with an Aadhaar Enrolment Receipt, which you must keep securely. This receipt serves as the sole proof of your enrollment for the Aadhaar Card and should be retained for future reference.

Upon submission of your data, the UIDAI Verification Team will proceed with the verification process, which may take approximately 1-2 months. Following successful verification, your Aadhaar Number will be issued to you. Please note that the delivery of the physical Aadhaar Card via post may take over 1 month. However, upon receiving your Aadhaar Number, you have the option to immediately download your Aadhaar Softcopy in PDF format from the official UIDAI website or through the mAadhaar App.

If a child is below 5 years of age, their Unique Identification Number (UID) will be processed solely based on the demographic information provided, along with a facial photograph linked to their parents’ UID. Additionally their Aadhaar Card will be issued in blue color, indicating that it contains only demographic details and does not include biometric information. However, children above 5 years of age and adults will receive the standard colored Aadhaar Card, which includes both demographic and biometric details.
