Please Enter Why Your Aadhaar Details are Different from Matriculation

“Please Enter Why Your Aadhaar Details are Different from Matriculation” appears when your name differs between your Matriculation (10th Class) Certificate and Aadhaar card. While registering on the RRB portal, you will need to fill in your personal information, including your full name as per the Matriculation (10th Class) Certificate/Marks List. If the name entered in this field does not match the name on your Aadhaar card, you will be required to provide a reason in the field “Why Your Aadhaar Details are Different from Matriculation.”

What You Should Write in Why Your Aadhaar Details are Different from Matriculation

If your name format sequence differs between your Aadhaar card and Matriculation Mark Sheet or Certificate, you can mention that your name format sequence differs. However, ensure that there are no spelling mistakes in either of these documents. For example, in your Mark Sheet, your name sequence may appear as LAST NAME MIDDLE NAME FIRST NAME, whereas in your Aadhaar, it may be FIRST NAME MIDDLE NAME LAST NAME. In this case, you can provide this as the reason for the difference.

In case your name is different in your Aadhaar and Mark Sheet or Certificate, you must first get your name corrected in the relevant document before proceeding with the registration.

Update Name in Aadhaar

If only the first letter of your middle name appears on any of your documents, you can mention the reason as “Middle name full form not mentioned.”

Once you provide a valid reason, you can proceed with the registration on the RRB portal without any issues.
